Our History

The Poppy Academy Trust was established in February 2015.  The trust was created by Fair Field Junior School in Radlett (as the former name of the trust states Fair Field Junior School).  The Trust was renamed in June 2020 to allow for other schools to join the trust and be part of the wider Poppy Academy Trust community. Poppy Trust changed their articles and became a Church Minority trust and this enable St John’s Infant and Nursery School to join the Trust. 

The Poppy Trust would like to grow to become a 6-10 school Trust and have plans to enable this to come to fruition over the next 5–10 years, to ensure an excellent education for all its children and an outstanding trust for staff to work in, that is supportive and provides opportunities for those wishing to develop within it.
