Nicola Mullett (Chair)
Nicola is a company director with 20 years’ experience in commercial, technical and operational roles in the media industry. She has lead the strategic planning, finance and HR functions in her current role as Deputy Managing Director, as well as having Non-Executive Director roles in a number of businesses. Nicola has six years experience in school governance, she is Chair of Governors at St. John's Infant and Nursery School as well as attending the HfL Strategic Leaders of Governance group.
Ian has been a School Governor for many years. He also has over 30 years’ experience as an accountant and auditor and is currently Technical Director with a major firm of accountants. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and a member of the Institute’s Technical and Practical Auditing Committee. Ian is a current Member of The Fair Field Junior School Trust.
Steve is a Digital Editor for BBC Radio including the Proms and the BBC Orchestras where he is responsible for online content and the development of websites and social media. He has a background of leadership in digital businesses, having founded one of Britain’s first web design firms. He is an experienced digital practitioner with expertise in website design, social media, online marketing and content creation.
Steve is one of three subscribing Members of the Trust and was Fair Field Junior School’s LGB Chair from 2008 to 2019. Steve is a current Member, and the Chair of Trustees of The Fair Field Junior School Trust.
Biddie is now retired from a career spanning nearly forty years in education as both a teacher and for the last twenty years as a Head of two high-achieving, large, independent schools. She has sat on numerous educational committees as well as being a Governor in both independent and maintained sector schools. Currently she is Chair of Governors at St John’s Infant School, a Trustee of Poppy Academy and Vice Chair of Governors at JCoSS, Barnet.
She believes passionately in the importance of an all-round education for every child and in equipping pupils to become engaged with their communities as they grow.
Andrew has over 25 years’ experience in the Financial Services sector and currently consults on index design, quantitative research and technical analysis. He was previously Managing Director, Quantitative Research, FTSE Group and prior to that was a Quantitative Strategist at HSBC. He has also been a past chairman and president of Radlett and District Round Table. He is an Associate Member of both the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment, and The Society of Technical Analysts.
Jane's career in law was mostly spent as a Welfare Rights Lawyer with the CAB. She has been a governor at St John's School since 2009 and either Chair or Vice Chair for most of that time. She is also Chair of Fair Field Junior School Local Governing Body. Having lived in Radlett for almost 40 years, she has always been involved in local community work often through the Church.
Lara Ashley is a management consultant with over 20 years’ experience across the private, public & third sector and has a PhD in Management and Systems. She specialises in advising executive teams on strategy, culture and performance improvement. As an immigrant and mother of four, Lara is passionate about the role of education in enhancing life opportunities and developing communities. In addition to her role as Trustee, she is also a Foundation Governor at St John’s Infant and Nursery school and is an active member of the local church.
John is a Regional Director and Board Member at Pick Everard, one of the UKs largest building design and construction management consultants. He is an RIBA Chartered Architect and oversees some of London and South East’s largest construction projects. His previous experience includes leading design teams on over 100 primary and secondary schools new builds and expansions. John is responsible for the practice’s regional strategy, implementation and operations.
