Who We Are

The Poppy Academy Trust is a small Trust in South Hertfordshire.  We currently have two schools in our trust: St John’s Nursery and Infant School and Fair Field Junior School.  Children’s well-being is at the heart of every decision we make. 

I am privileged to be the Chief Executive Officer of the Trust and lead our fantastic team of dedicated staff, ambitious students and supportive families.  The schools in the Trust work collaboratively to ensure best possible opportunities for our children.  This may be sharing resources, joint events and/or staff development. 

The Poppy Academy Trust was formed in 2015 and Fair Field Junior School was the founding school.  St John’s Nursery and Infant School joined the Trust in July 2020.  We are hopeful that more local schools will join the Trust so we can expand our collaborative working and child-centred approach beyond our two schools.
